Registration Policy

Both oral and poster papers must be presented at the conference in person.

  • For oral presentations, if at the time of the conference unexpected events prevent an author from presenting in person, the session chair will play the pre-recorded video provided by the author(s).
  • For poster papers, if at the time of the conference unexpected events prevent an author from presenting in person, the pre-recorded video and the poster PDF will be available to conference participants on the LREC 2026 website as well as the LREC 2026 Conference App.

For all papers, regardless of presentation mode, at least one author of the paper must be registered for the conference at the in-person rate, before the deadline for early registration, 15 March 2026.

  • No author may serve as the registrant for more than one paper, except in cases where the same person is the sole author of more than one paper.
  • Requests for exemption from this requirement should be sent to info@lrec2026.info with the subject line “Request for exemption from registration requirement”.
  • Failure to comply with the registration requirement will result in cancellation of the paper presentation and elimination of the paper from the conference proceedings.

Registration fees to the Main Conference do not cover the registration to Workshop(s) and/or Tutorial(s) which should be added individually.

Registration for a workshop or a tutorial alone is possible upon payment of the workshop/tutorial fees.

Student fees are applicable only to full-time students. To benefit from the student status, students must provide a proof of their academic standing (student ID or certificate for 2025-2026, endorsed by the signature of a supervisor), as a file (pdf, gif, jpg, png) during the registration process.

Extra Gala dinner tickets are available for accompanying persons and can be purchased during registration. Participants will also be able to buy extra tickets for both social events on-site from 11 May 2026.
