By registering for LREC 2026, participants and authors of one or several accepted papers agree to these General Conditions.
REGISTRATION POLICY
- LREC 2026 Main conference is a conference featuring in-person presentations. All papers, whether Orals or Posters, must be presented at the conference (recorded presentation will be used as backup if the speaker cannot attend). At least one author for each accepted paper must be registered to the LREC 2026 Main Conference at the in-person fees rate by the early registration deadline authors must register by the early-bird registration deadline. Failure to register will result in the cancellation of the paper’s publication in LREC 2026 Proceedings.
- Registration fees to the Main Conference do not cover the registration to Workshop(s) and/or Tutorial(s) which should be added individually.
- Registration for a workshop or a tutorial alone is possible upon payment of the workshop/tutorial fees.
- Student fees are applicable only to full-time students. To benefit from the student status, students must provide a proof of their academic standing (student ID or certificate for 2025-2026, endorsed by the signature of a supervisor), as a file (pdf, gif, jpg, png) during the registration process.
- Extra Gala dinner tickets are available for accompanying persons and can be purchased during registration.
Failure to register will result in the cancellation of the paper’s publication in LREC 2026 Proceedings.

- Regular Participant: 100€
- Student Participant: 50€
Student Rate
Proof of academic standing must be provided to register as a student. During the registration process, students must upload a valid student ID or proof of their status signed by the Head of the department (as a PDF or gif, jpg, png, doc and docx file).
Registration Conditions
For the Main conference, two registration periods are defined with different registration fees:
- Early-bird: Up to March 6, 2026
- Normal & Late: March 7, 2026
Registration will be considered final once payment of the registration fees has been processed and accepted by our bank.
Payment
All payments must be made in EURO. Upon receipt of your payment, your registration will be confirmed by email, and a receipt will be sent to you.
1. Credit Card Payment (preferred)
The payment of registration fees to LREC 2026 (Main conference and/or Workshops and Tutorials) should be made using a credit card (CB, Visa, Mastercard, American Express). The Online Registration system guarantees secure credit card transactions.

All bank charges and foreign exchange commissions are to be paid by the participant.
3. Purchase Order
This payment method is reserved to institutions.
Institutions can issue a purchase order (PO) with the items ordered by one or several participants to LREC 2026. In this case, the purchase order must be sent to the Conference Secretariat by email at elrasecretariat@lrec2026.info.
Applicable VAT on Registration Fees
VAT is included in the registration fees. The applicable rates are as follows:
- in-person fees: 21%
- remote fees: 21%
Letter of Invitation
The Letter of invitation downloadable from Catalysts platform can be used for Visa requests. This letter is ONLY available to participants who have completed and paid their registration.

Cancellation Policy
Participants who register within the early bird deadline are entitled to registration fee refunds for valid reasons, substantiated with documentation (e.g., visa delays, medical conditions). Cancellation must be notified to Conference Catalysts at ckravec@conferencecatalysts.com. All refunds will be made after the conference. Refunds will be made to the same bank account or credit card as the original payment.
For any other extenuating circumstances with respect to registration, please write to the Program Chairs at lrec2026-pcs@googlegroups.com with the subject “LREC 2026 Registration Extenuating Circumstances Request”. These may include single authors who have multiple papers, participants with financial, medical, or other challenges. These will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Please refer to the following dates for cancellation:
- Cancellation by April 20, 2026: Full refund less bank or credit card expenses and a 75€ processing fee
- Cancellation after April 20, 2026: No refund.
Cancellation means that the final paper may be withdrawn from LREC 2026 Proceedings if no author completes registration for the Main Conference.
Please remember that cancelling your registration does not automatically cancel your hotel and other travel arrangements. Each participant is responsible for cancelling their own hotel and travel reservations.
